A soft, black, UV resistant thermoplastic vulcanizate (TPV) in the thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) family. This material has good fluid resistance and is specially formulated for low density foamed profile extrusion applications. This grade of Santoprene TPV is shear-dependent and can be processed on conventional thermoplastics e for extrusion. It is polyolefin based and completely recyclable.
Can be foamed using water or chemical blowing agents.
Recommended for applications re excellent flex fatigue resistance.
Recommended for applications re excellent ozone resistance.
