Lub-O-Seal Graphite Powders

Lub-O-Seal Graphite Powders are very fine black powders that offer good lubrication properties for a

variety of applications. Graphite powder can be used as a dry lubricant in its original form or as a lubrication

additive in greases, oils or colloidal solutions. Graphite contains high levels of carbon and therefore offers

good electrical conductivity.

APPLICATIONS:

 Use as a dry lubricant for locks, hinges, latches, sliding surfaces, threaded fittings, chains, sprockets, gears,

electrical connectors, knife-type disconnect switches, spark plug threads, etc. Use as a lubricant or high

temperature additive when combined with oils, greases, solvents, water or other materials. 

• Designed to meet the re of US Military Spec: MIL-PRF-7866C (MIL-M-7866C).

• Withstands pressures exceeding 500,000 P.S.I.

• Serviceable temperature range from –375 ° F to +750 ° F, and up to 2,000 ° F in the absence of oxygen.

• Extremely low coefficient of friction.

• Exceptional adherence to most surfaces.

• Lubricates in the presence of (and resists) most chemical and solvents.

• Effective in extreme environments: dusty, dirty or abrasive atmospheres, harsh chemicals.

 The excellent wear resistance of this powder helps extend the life of metal parts such as cams, latches,

switches, low speed bearings, ways, gears, chains, rollers, hinges and many more. Use Moly Powder to

reduce friction in various metalworking applications such as stamping and bending or to prevent galling or

seizing of tools and dies. Use to prevent galling and seizing of sliding metal surfaces, lubricate surfaces

exposed to heavy loads and slow surface speeds where standard lubricating oils cannot be maintained,

lubricate newly assembled parts during critical run-in period, press fit assemblies. Moly powder is also an

excellent lubricant for reducing friction in plastic and rubber parts as well. It can be rubbed or burnished onto

o-rings, packings and seals where conventional oil lubrication cannot be used.
