3MUHMW Film Tape 5421 has an excellent abrasion resistance backing,making it ideal for many tough impact wear or sliding applications.It creates a slip plane effect to allow contact without wear.

Thick caliper UHMW polyethylene tape for extended service lifeas a protective surface against extreme wear.

UHMW polyethylene is a thermoplastic that has a uni of properties which make it ideal for many tough impactwear or sliding applications.

Liner makes it ideal for fabricating or die-cutting into variouslengths and shapes.

Outstanding abrasion resistance so will outwear many types ofPTFE and other materials in sliding applications.

Low coefficient of friction exceeded only by the PTFEs.

Self-lubricating so can often be used where lubrication is notpossible because of contamination.
