This tape is made with a strong polyester backing and a siliconeadhesive that offers high heat resistance compared with many rubberand acrylic adhesives.

Get high heat resistance compared to many other rubber and acrylicadhesives with 3M Polyester Tape 8901. Our polyester tape can beused in applications re high temperatures or adhesion tosilicone treated surfaces. It’s made with a strong, blue polyesterbacking and a silicone adhesive for strength, durability and longservice life.

The backing offers excellent thermal, abrasion and chemicalresistance while maintaining flexibility. The silicon adhesivereduces failure due to the softening, oozing and adhesivetransfer.
