UNISILKON L 250 L
Special lubricating grease for tap water, beverage and heating valves & fittings
Description
UNISILKON L 250 L is a special lubricant based on silicone and PTFE for valves and adjusting mechanisms in the sanitary, beverage and heating sector.
UNISILKON L 250 L offers good penetration ability in small lubrication gaps and lube points of difficult
access.
As its viscosity is rather independent from service temperatures, UNISILKON L 250 L allows constant
actuating forces within the whole cold/hot water range of single-lever mixer taps.
UNISILKON L 250 L is resistant to cold and hot water, hot steam up to approx. 120/130°C. It is compatible with most substances in the foodprocessing and beverage industries
like beer, milk, juices, liquors, aqueous liquids as well as with acid and alkaline disinfectants.
UNISILKON L 250 L is not resistant to most organic solvents, strong acid and alkaline solutions.
UNISILKON L 250 L is also used as sealing grease and assembly aid for seals and packings in contact with cold water or hot steam.
The product shows a thermal stability up to approx. 160°C and low evaporation loss.
UNISILKON L 250 L complies with the guidelines of the German Federal Environmental Agency on hygiene re for lubricants in contact with tap water (as ofApril 15, 2003).
