定期检查蓄电池的状态，保持蓄电池室和电池容器、支架、外壳清洁。定期检查电池串联接线端子，使之接触良好，防止电流放电时产生打火和压降地大现象。  假若UPS在运行2～3个月期间很少发生停电或没有停电现象，则应实行核对性放电，将市电人为断开，放出电池容量的30%～40%，然后再接入市电正常运行。及时处理落后电池，准备停用的电池，在停用前应先充。在放置后，每隔1～2个月充电一次。
