1. Process characteristics of PBT
PBT has a significant melting point, melting point of 225~235℃, is a crystalline material, crystallinity up to 40%.
The viscosity of PBT melt is not affected by the temperature as much as the shear stress. Therefore, the injection pressure has a significant influence on the fluidity of PBT melt in injection molding.
PBT has good fluidity and low viscosity in the molten state, second only to nylon.
