1、蓄电池的联接
1. Battery connection
● 容量不同、性能不同、生产厂家不同的蓄电池不可连接在一起使用。

图1 电池内部阻抗并非是临近失效的有效指示，指数曲线意味着，早期失效难以察觉，但是后期性能劣化非常快
电池正被使用或正在充电时，可以采用一项成熟的技术评定内部阻抗。通常，在浮充直流电压上叠加微弱的交流电压，测量此时的交流电压和电流，然后根据测量结果推算内部阻抗，具体实施方法各有不同。不过这种方法有一定的局限性，它只能处理指数曲线形状。而即将失效的单个电池在失效过程中，在数据记录器识别其失效趋势以前，显现良好的状态；相反地，到失效问题出现时，这个电池可能在短期内就会完全失效。
LEM开发了一种更成熟的算法，这种算法可以尽早检测出正在衰减的单个电池的性能。该成果是一种非常可靠的测试方法，它能彻底穿透单个电池的能量层，确保大程度的可靠性。它以俗称的Randles等效电路为基础，将电化学电池表现为一个由电学元件组成的电路网，每个电学元件都与构成单个电池的一个物理因素相关。（参见图板）

Randles 的每个元件（图2）都代表电化学电池的一种物理过程和/或失效模式。
Rm是金属电阻，代表金属以及组件连接处的电阻。
Re是电解液电阻：电解液损耗可能是过早失效的主要原因。
Cdl是双电层电容，代表有效极板区以及电解液的电介质强度。
Rct是电荷传递（感应电流）电阻，是由于极板/电解液界面处的化学反应动力学速率受限所导致。
Wi，Warburg阻抗，代表扩散物质传输过程。它是一种低频电学元件，放电过程中不存在。
划分这些等效电学元件（每个元件都代表某项性能约束因素）后，单个电池的能量层表现为单纯的电学元件，而这些在测试过程中可以消除。
图3显示了各种参数在单个电池寿命期间内的渐进曲线。同一特性在放电或容量下降期间也得到了证实。等效电路的全部阻抗因素都遵循近似的曲线；在早期失效或容量下降阶段，没有大幅改变。如果将阻抗用作单个电池工作状态的主要指示，它将不会给出任何有意义的指示，除非容量下降幅度超过25-30%。因为行业标准是更换性能下降至规定性能80％以下的电池，显而易见，必须尽早识别可能的失效。

不过，在Randles等效电路中，有一种参数在单个电池失效（单纯的金属腐蚀除外，这种失效模式会通过Rm参数的增大而显现）早期就会改变，这就是Cdl，双电层电容。图3下面那条曲线显现了其特性；此外，对于处于正常放电阶段的性能正常的电池，以及假定完全充满电的正在失效的电池，其Cdl曲线的形状是相似的。
监测技术
本文未对这种监测技术详加描述，下文对其进行了简单介绍。
逐个向单个电池馈入测试信号，无需在整个电池组内注入大电流，也不存在对外部系统直流连接的干扰。采用双极测试信号对原有算法进行了改良，不过结果证明单极信号可靠性更高。然而，在采用单极信号进行测试时，出现直流漂移。简单消除这种漂移并不能保持数据集特性，而其特性是准确测定参量所必需的。采用频率扫描的方式重排不同频率的信号脉冲（包含测试信号），可使电池电压响应与预定曲线吻合。
一旦潜在漂移曲线变得有规则，就能设置固件算法对这种漂移建模并消除它，从而得到适合直接输入Sentinel算法的平均零电压数据集。这种方法可将漂移误差降至0.1％以下，也不会导致数据集出现明显失真。因此波形测量中也可以采用这种算法，从而使等效电路参数的准确度更高。
诸多测量功能和算法处理均被集成到单片集成电路中。Sentinel模块既可测量单个电池单体，也可测量整个12V电池）。多达250个测量点，均以模块形式开展测量，测量结果可以通过专用数据总线提交到电池数据记录器，S-Box。在大规模的电池组系统中，可以对几股这样的数据流进行合成，使得本地或远程上行管理系统可以利用S-Box内集成的网络服务器经由标准总线或因特网连接使用这些数据流。
通过利用测量SoC确定每个电池的真实状态，不仅仅可以提供检测临近失效这种成熟的监测架构就能具备的功能；还可以设置其他功能和服务。
