DAPCO® 18-4F Silicone Firewall Sealant
Made for use during aircraft construction, repair and maintenance, Cytec DAPCO® 18-4F silicone firewall sealant can be used for filleting, coating and sealing materials. This firewall sealant is made up of a two-part, solvent-free silicone compound. The uncured product is a thixotropic paste that can be applied using a spatula or an extrusion gun. DAPCO® 18-4F is free of lead, fire-retardant and resistant to weathering and harsh conditions. It also protects your aircraft with its resistance to most chemicals that are common to the aerospace industry and immunity to phosphate ester fluids. In addition to being repairable, this sealant provides excellent performance at extreme temperatures.
