CHARGING Cycle Applications: Apply constant voltage charge at 2.35v/c - 2.45v/c (14.1 – 14.7v for 12v Monobloc) at 20°C. Initial charging current should be set at less than 0.25C Amps. Switch to float charge to avoid overcharging. “Float” or “Stand-By” Service: Apply constant voltage charge of 2.25v/c – 2.30v/c (13.5 to 13.8 volts for 12v Monobloc at 20°C. When held at this voltage, the battery will seek its own current level and maintain itself in a fully charged condition. Temperature Compensation: Charging Voltage for both Cyclic and Standby applications should be regulated in relation to ambient temperature. As temperature rises charging voltage should be reduced to prevent overcharge and increased as temperature falls to avoid undercharge. 1应急照明的分类

在正常照明电源发生故障时，为确保正常活动继续进行而设的应急照明部分。通常在下列场所应设置备用照明： (1)断电后不进行及时操作或处置可能造成爆炸、火灾及中毒等事故的场所。 (2)断电后不进行及时操作或处置将造成生产流程混乱或加工处理的贵重部件遭受损坏的场所。(3)照明熄灭将造成较大政治影响或严重经济损失的场所。 (4)照明熄灭将妨碍消防救援工作进行的场所。(5)重要的地下建筑因照明熄灭将无法工作和活动。 (6)照明熄灭将造成现金、贵重物品被窃的场所。

1.2疏散照明

在正常电源发生故障时，为使人员能容易而准确无误地找到建筑物出口而设的应急照明部分。通常在下列场所应设疏散照明： (1)人员众多、密集的公共建筑。(2)大中型旅馆、大型餐厅等建筑。 (3)高层公共建筑、超高层建筑。 (4)人员众多的地下建筑。(5)特别重要的、人员众多的大型工业厂房。

1.3安全照明

在正常电源发生故障时，为确保处于潜在危险中人员的安全而设的应急照明部分。通常在下列场所应设置安全照明： (1)工业厂房中的正常照明因电源故障而熄灭时，在黑暗中可能造成人员挫伤、灼伤等严重危险的区域。(2)正常照明因电源故障熄灭时，使危重患者的抢救工作不能及时进行，延误急救时间而可能危及患者生命的。(3)正常照明因电源故障而熄灭后，由于众多人员聚集，且又不熟悉环境条件，容易引起惊恐而可能导致人身伤亡的场所，或人们难以与外界联系的电梯内等。
